This was a mini-vacation that happened after Hurricane Irene had passed.

Midnight, Aug 27 -- Charlie lowered the level of the pool and emptied the filter.  We woke in the morning to a very dirty pool and one tree branch broken and fallen over the fence into the neighbor's yard.

Sept 6 -- We visit Aleatha in Bolton Spa
The garden plantings are beautiful

Monday (Labor Day) we met with Charlie's cousins for lunch

On Tuesday, Sept 6 we drove into the Adirondacks to visit Jamie, Ben and family at Blue Mountain Lake

It takes at least two days to visit the Adirondacks Museum

Straders lent us their house on Raquette Lake

Cozy

Drove home on Thursday, lingering along the road at a lunch stop.
