The following people (in alphabetical order) have contributed time, effort and/or material in support of this web page. |
Byrne, Charlie -- my husband and hardware support.
Byrne, DJ -- my son who suggested this project in the first place and provides ongoing technical consultation.
Fahringer, Aleatha Jones -- my cousin. She did the cover for her mother Matilda's book and also loaned old photos to me to digitize.
Gerrity, Patrick -- a "found" cousin who added much information (genealogy and history) along the Gerrity line.
Gouveia, Frank -- my nephew who has done genealogy research and exchanged a lot of information with me. He input the "Frank" book in spite of help from 4 yr old son Andrew.
Jones, Mary -- my cousin. She loaned some very old photos to me so I could digitize them.
Klebosky, Laura Byrne -- my daughter who input "An Apple Falls".
Osborne, Joe -- nephew-in-law who searched the Internet to find the files needed to make this CD start up automatically upon loading.
Pajaro, Mike -- Friend of our son DJ, and now of the family. He digitized the audio and video tapes of my mother reading her poems.
Rooney, Alberta Maydock -- My sister-in-law, a truly wonderful person. She suggested the original collaboration between my mother and brother and supported their efforts from beginning to end. She also did the art work for the covers of most of my mother's books. She died Nov 17, 2001.
Rooney, Laura Larson -- my mother. She wrote the books, poems and stories that inspired this whole project. She died Apr 26, 1989.
Rooney, Leo -- my brother, the editor of all my mother's books. He died Jan 17, 1997.
Smith, Daniel -- another "found" cousin who exchanged information about Martha Mott and provided photos to fill in the years of that branch of the family. Coincidentally, he now lives almost precisely on the same land that Johanna and Leo occupied on Bainbridge Island in the 1940's.
Winter, Elizabeth Gallagher -- my cousin who did an awesome extensive genealogy research, finding lost relatives in Sweden and documentation that raises questions about some family myths. She has entrusted all her research documents to me. She died July 30, 2003.
